Last month, VFB distributed 31,424lbs of food to the community; which helped 473 households.

We had a great opportunity to tour Greener Village’s current facility and are happy to be able to contribute to their THRIVE campaign for Perishable Food Rescue Centre.

- Greener Village is thrilled to announce a $100,000 gift from Fen's Market to our THRIVE campaign! Scott and Laura Fraser were proud to present the donation to CEO Alex Boyd, during a tour of the current Greener Village Facility.

The Perishable Food Rescue Centre will be a first of its kind in Canada – and this generous investment in gets us one step closer to our goal. A heartfelt thank you to Fens and their commitment to fighting food insecurity in New Brunswick: The PFRC will rescue produce destined for waste, process, freeze and ship it to food banks all across New Brunswick.
