Geoff Russ's article is a great review of the many challenges facing the va**ng industry.

The article highlights Health Canada's statements “The total profit loss to the va**ng industry that also manufactures to***co products may be mitigated by the substitution of to***co purchases from dual users who would go back to smoking,” reads Health Canada’s 2021 report on the potential effects of a flavour ban. “They would choose to purchase more ci******es, hence offsetting the loss of sales of to***co- or mint/menthol-flavoured va**ng products.”

**SAUVONS LES SAVEURS**

Si vous croyez que les vapoteurs devraient avoir droit à l'accès aux saveurs dans les produits de vapotage. Nous avons besoin de votre aide.

Merci à tous ceux qui ont signé la pétition au printemps dernier en vue de contrer l'interdiction des arômes. Tout d'abord, les seize mille personnes qui ont soutenu la pétition ont eu un impact ! Malheureusement, au moment de la clôture de la pétition, il n'y a pas eu assez de temps pour qu'elle soit lue en séance, car des élections ont été déclenchées !

Nous en sommes donc repartis avec une autre pétition, et nous demandons aux Canadiens et Canadiennes de prendre un moment pour signer cette nouvelle pétition.

Cette fois-ci, nous sommes plus forts. Nous avons plus de soutien au gouvernement que jamais auparavant et nous devons faire signer cette nouvelle pétition par le plus grand nombre de Canadiens et Canadiennes possible !

**ACCESS TO FLAVORS**

If you believe that va**rs should have access to flavours in va**ng products, then please make yourself heard. Without your help, flavors will be banned.

Note:

Thank you to everyone that signed the petition last spring to help stop the flavour ban. The sixteen thousand supporters who signed the petition made an impact! Unfortunately, an election was called and the petition could not be read. As a result, the process needs to be repeated.

We ask again that Canadians take a moment to sign this new petition. This time however, we are stronger. We have more support in government than ever before and we need to get as many Canadians as possible to sign this new petition!

🚫 INTERDICTION DES SAVEURS 🚫 --- DERNIÈRE CHANCE

Si vous êtes un vapoteur et que vous croyez que les saveurs sont importantes pour vous (et autres vapoteurs), ceci est la dernière chance de vous faire entendre car Santé Canada se prépare à abolir les saveurs dans l'industrie de la v**e au CANADA complet.

Ce lien vous permet de créer une soumission unique et personnalisée pour s'opposer à l'interdiction des saveurs par Santé Canada. Le tout ne prend que quelques minutes à remplir et toutes soumissions doivent être envoyées avant le 2 septembre.

Dear Fellow V**er,

We all know that flavours are critical for smokers to make the switch to va**ng products. The problem is that the federal government does not see flavours as important and wants to take them away. We can’t let this happen. To change the minds of politicians and regulators we need to show them that va**rs and our loved ones care about this issue. Luckily, we have now an official way to do so.

Thanks to the initiative of a v**e shop owner in Alberta, there is an e-petition available on the House of Commons webpage. It is open now for signatures. Here is the link: https://tinyurl.com/8ru9f94c

This petition is important because since we have already collected over 500 signatures it means that the Liberal government must respond to the petition in the House of Commons, on record. And, in an election year, it is even more important to know the positions of our political parties on issues that concern us.
