Toast the Coast Trail Toast the Coast Trail is home to award-winning wines, hard ciders, and beers. Eat. Play. Shop. Stay! They made wine that was described "as good as vin de Grave".

Welcome to Ontario's South Coast, our warm hospitality and our wine! Our vineyards and wineries are located in the glacial sand plain deposits from the last ice age. Our wine heritage reaches way back to the first European explorers, French Missionaries Dollier and Galinee! In 1669, Dollier and Galinee travelled along the Lake Erie shoreline and arrived in Port Dover where they established their w

inter camp and discovered the local grapes. Today, our vineyards boast of hybrids and vinifera grapes. So Come South and discover for yourself what Dollier and Galinee found - "there is assuredly no more beautiful region in Canada". We have combined our efforts and resources to assist members committed to advance growth and promote a distinctive wine industry in Ontario's South Coast region.

Spirit of the Season continues this weekend and next weekend! That’s six more days that you can check out 19 different stops along the Toast the Coast Trail! 🚘

This self-guided tour is a great way to kick off the holiday season and try some delicious pairings like this braised meatball with Cabernet Merlot 🤤

If you’re heading to Elgin County to visit + here’s a few ideas of things to explore while you’re in the area:
- Visit Port Stanley and check out and the town has their Dickens Days Weekend in full swing.
- Port Stanley’s Santa Claus Parade is Friday night!
- St Thomas has over 50 painted murals for you to admire and find.
- Visit our friends at in St Thomas (they are not a passport stop)
- West Lorne Santa Claus Parade is Saturday night!

This self-guided tour is a fun way to explore new breweries, wineries and distilleries along the Toast the Coast Trail. You can use your passport over the next three weekends at 19 different stops, each with a unique food + drink pairing for you to enjoy.
