See you at and outside the Sunnybrae Community Hall on Thursday 31 October 2024 from 6pm to 8pm!

6pm: The event will kick off with BBQ, bonfires, hot drinks, candy, cinnamon buns available until they run out. 50/50 ticket sales will go from 6pm to 7:14pm.

6:30pm: Cut off to enter Family Costume, Individual Costume, and Jack-o'-Lantern competitions.

7:00pm: Jack-o'-lantern and Costume Prize Draws.

7:15pm: 50/50 draw. BC Gaming License 152633**

7:30pm: Fireworks begin!

8pm: Clean-up and G'nights. (Don't forget to take back your pumpkins!)

This year's Halloween Fireworks Fiesta is again co-hosted by the Sunnybrae Community Association and Sunnybrae Seniors Hall.

Major Sponsorship has been provided by Columbia Shuswap Regional District with the support of Marty Gibbons CSRD Area C Director: thanks for the fireworks, prizes and candy.

Additional sponsors are the Tappen Co-op who are providing the BBQ supplies, and Millar College / Sunnybrae Bible Camp for their incomparable cinnamon buns.
(If you are a sponsor interested in adding to the prize loot, please private message us, or just save it for next summer's version of "Sunday Funday" where we hope to hold another day of fun at the Firehall including a silent auction). Additional gratitude to Camping for Care Association for stepping up with a generous donation to augment the prize draws! Thank you DeMille's Farm Market for the pumpkin prizes.

*Bring your jack-o-lantern before 6:30pm to enter the spooky display and the prize draw*.
DRESS up to IMPRESS us!!!! There will be prize draws* for Family Costumes and Individual Costumes. Ensure you sign up in person to enter those draws before 6:30pm. (Family Costume means at least 1 child and 1 adult are dressed up thematically). Firehall members dressed up NOT as firefighters can enter these draws (Gauntlet thrown).
*Winners will be awarded through a combo of people's choice and draw.

**50/50 ticket buyers must be aged 19+ and present to claim their prize. Proceeds raised will support the Tappen Sunnybrae Firefighters Association. Please note: Firefighters and their spouses will not be permitted to purchase tickets.

Somethin' WICKED this way comes.
So Justine is still suffering from concussion symptoms (can't believe it's almost been a year of this) and has been slacking hard on keeping up with this account. Justine also talks in the third person. BUT we have some exciting news. Kara has been continuing making magick in the kitchen and will have some seasonal items coming to a shop near you! Stay tuned for what's coming up and where to find us this season.
