The sun went down for me tonight at this amazing spot, Elevated plains with a view to Lalgambuk (Mt Franklin). According to the First Nations people, Dja Dja Wurrung, the crater is the nest of an Emu! The sad thing is that there are no wild emu left in this area but the good news is that there is a little family of emus that only locals know about 🤫 let’s hope some magic happens & that little family can grow into a big mob!
