Yeah we know we’ve been quiet on here!
After 5 insane years of running 2 businesses (plus another full time job) we’ve been taking a LONG over due break.
We sold our shipping container venue and currently taking a pause from brewing to strategise, refresh and go on some adventures ✈️ now we don’t work weekends 🤩😎

What’s next?? We’re working on it and will let you know here!

In the meantime we are SOLD out of all cans and have a batch of our much loved Ode To Amy in kegs available now.

Did you know that each of our beers were inspired by a local story/piece of history of the Coal Coast? 🤓

In these modern times, storytelling is often only consumed via technology… guilty 🙋‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️. We were worried if we didn’t find a way to keep telling these local stories then they may be lost forever.

So we combined our love of stories with our other love…. Beer 🍻 AND
Coal Coast Brewing Co. was born.

Each tin has artwork with its own story narrative. Oh and then you get to drink the delicious beer inside 😉

Happy Birthday to our Equine friends past and present 🐴

Today we pay homage to the faithful Pit Pony who played such an important role alongside the miners of the Coal Coast.

And to Dusty, my own stubborn, albino pony that never let me feel like I was boss…EVER. Yet I’m grateful how the joy of riding brought me close to my grandfather Jim (dec.).

Our beer tap horse float is named in honour of that pig headed horse and we love serving our Pit Pony Pale Ale from those taps every chance we get 🍻

Even our ‘water tight’ container bar couldn’t hold up over night 🌧

It took a hit and we need a few dry days to do some repairs/ mopping up so we made the decision to keep the Jetty doors up for the remainder of the weekend… sorry.

We know you all wanted to have too 😢. But we will get them back 🍔
