"Intense ruby-red colour. Rich and deep, with red ripe fruits such as blackberries, plums and cherries and red fruits jams; then spices and tobacco are reaching the surface creating a smooth balance within balsamic and fruity notes. Full bodied and well structured, supported by a good acidity which creates a smooth and velvet balance."

In the Southern Hemisphere lies a Viticultural Eden bathed by an ancient ridge, where pristine glacial waters filter naturally through nutrient rich earth. This unspoiled paradise is the chosen land for growing vines. It is here where these wines are born. 300 days of sun, deep roots, and alluvial soils create the most ideal of conditions for these Mythic Argentine wines.
"Elegant and fruit forward wine with a bright purple red color. Intense aromas of fresh fruits and subtle vanilla undertones. Sweet in the mouth with a pleasent middle palate with soft & round tannins leading to a persistent finish." - Winery Notes

“Crows”: this is how the inhabitants of Solarolo Monasterolo define themselves as. The Decordi Winery, which arose in this village, decided to pay a special tribute to this bird, highly present in the area, dedicating to it the so called “Corvus Corax” (Imperial Crows) wine line. The type of wine began to be produced and distributed, the brand gradually spread and, considering that the symbolism does not offer a very positive image of the raven, over time Decordi decided to opt for a name that could represent not only the desire to create a line that can give greater depth to the local wines (Lambrusco, Bonarda, Barbera), but also the inclusion of very famous wines of the Italian tradition (Soave, Chianti, Nero d'Avola, Montepulciano).
The Decordi family, therefore, decided to emphasize and maintain the "imperial" character of the line, always recalling the relationship with the area of origin, as well as the attachment to the village ... to the “Borgo”! That’s how Borgo Imperiale was born, a line of products of premium excellence, designed for a medium-high market segment, with a brand that symbolically reminds us how the Decordi Winery has always been attentive to the quality and excellence of the product, without ever forgetting its humble origins.
"Made from Glera grapes this Prosecco has a pearly straw yellow colour which reveals notes of apple and pear. Light-bodied but firm, the hints of citrus makes this Prosecco very easy to drink. Characteristic and fruity with an elegant lift."

For the most part, Montepulciano wines are medium-bodied with soft tannins, high acidity, and juicy, fruit flavors. (Again, Montepulciano is a drier wine, so the fruit flavors do not equal sweetness.) Expect flavors such as wild cherry, blackberry, boysenberry, and plum.
And remember, all our wines are backed by our easy to use returns and refund policy.

As is true of most historical wines, there are several theories about the origin of the name: according to some of the testimonies it could be derived from the Latin term "clangor" (noise), to remember the hunting noise; according to other versions, the name derives from the Etruscan word "clante", a name of Etruscan families spreading in the area. In support of this hypothesis, there are Etruscan and Roman testimonies showing the ancient wine traditions, although the first documents in which, with the name Chianti, is identified a specific area of wine production date back to the 13th century. The first notarial document dates back to 1398, when the name Chianti appears to refer to the wine produced in this area.

A family-owned and operated vineyard in Wilyabrup, Margaret River. Planted in 1996 by the Cotterell family, the nine hectare vineyard grows predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, but also Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. The fruit is managed by hand and owner Craig Cotterell does all the vineyard work himself to ensure a sound and disease-free vineyard. Craig has managed every aspect of the vineyard since the beginning and strives to grow grapes of superior quality. Wines are made by Kate Morgan.
The Chardonnay was hand- picked in the cool of the morning and transported directly to the winery. Bunches were chilled, whole bunch pressed with a portion of the free run transferred straight to barrel, and one batch settled overnight then racked to barrel. Barrel stirring throughout fermentation and into maturation ensured lees complexity developed and integrated seamlessly with new and old oak. Barrel selection provided perfect balance between fruit power, fermentation complexity and oak impact.
Vintage 2021 got off to a promising start with a mild spring offering reasonable rainfall and good conditions. A wet November gave way to a hot & humid summer and vintage, which meant disease pressure was high, however with careful management, open canopies, afternoon winds and careful monitoring we maintained a clean & healthy vineyard. The whites have great acidity and purity of fruit, while the reds are elegant with good varietal expression.
"Bright straw in colour with a nose of lifted peach, bright grapefruit, spiced vanillin cashew. On the palate there is a zesty natural acidity and elegant oak tannins guide white stone-fruit, lemon tart and sweet spice notes to a long, creamy finish." - Winery notes
A light and crisp Rosé, with abundant wild strawberry and raspberry notes and a hint of lemon zest. Delicate fruit flavours lead to an elegant finish.

Like many Italian-Australians in the King Valley, the Cavedon family were originally tobacco growers before moving into grape growing. Dino Cavedon took up grapes in '77 planting in-demand varieties such as riesling, chardonnay, shiraz and merlot. Later, a visit to see family in Italy saw him return with new enthusiasm for Italian grape varieties and he planted pinot grigio, barbera and sangiovese for local wine producers. In '18, Dino’s daughter, Pia, and son-in-law, Gabe, moved to the King Valley to carry on his life’s work, founding Cavedon Wines. They produce single-vineyard wines made with minimal intervention in styles well suited to Mediterranean cuisine, the type of wines they grew up on.
"The aromatics & flavours are really noticeable. It's dry, drinkable and light, yet nothing is watered down and still holds plenty of character. Think crisp nashi pear, citrus & all crunchy natural acidity. If you're a fan of their Albarino & Gewurztraminer, you've got to give it a go!" - Winery notes

Nero d'Avola is "the most important red wine grape in Sicily" and is one of Italy's most important indigenous varieties. It is named after Avola (a small town in south east Sicily) and its wines are compared to New World Shiraz, with sweet tannins and plum or peppery flavours.
"The Black Grape of Avola" appears to have been selected by growers near Avola several hundred years ago. Initially, it was confined to the southern tip of the island but more recently has spread throughout the island.
"Intense aroma of wine shows notes of small red fruits, blackcurrant jam and spices. Full-bodied, robust, velvety, pleasant, with notes of cherry, black cherry and black currant." - Winery Notes

The Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard is located in the southerly Wallcliffe region, which produces very elegant aromatic wines with gravelly tannins.
The Merlot is sourced from vineyards in the central Wilyabrup Valley region, known for producing plush wines with ripe tannins.
After harvesting, this wine was destemmed and crushed before being ‘cold soaked’ on skins for up to five days prior to fermentation. During fermentation the must was pumped over 4 times a day to extract colour and tannin. Following fermentation this wine was matured in French oak barrels for 12 months.
"Intense crimson in colour, the nose shows classic characters of raspberry and blackberry. The palate displays a variety of ripe red and dark berry fruits, and finishes with lush ripe tannins." - Winery Notes

"The Macclesfield site is our coolest vineyard and delivers pretty spices and structure, whilst the Gladysdale vineyard is older and offers wonderful drive and fruit purity.
Our Gladysdale fruit was hand sorted, fully destemmed and cold soaked for a few days before being inoculated for fermentation. The Macclesfield parcel was 70% destemmed with 30% remaining as whole bunches in ferment. We largely left this one alone, allowing a long cold soak (5 days) before wild fermentation commenced. Both vineyard parcels were gently pressed to tank before running to a combination new (10%) and old French puncheons and barriques.
After 9 months maturation, both vineyard parcels were blended in tank and settled before bottling, unfined and unfiltered.
The finished wine is highly fragrant with lifted sour red cherry, ginger and dried florals with just a hint of wood spice. The palate follows suit with mouth filling and juicy cherries, supported by whole bunch spice and bright, mouth-watering acidity to finish." - Winery Notes
