Hidden Lake Cask No. 195 has been awarded a Gold Medal at this year’s World Whiskies Awards. Cask No. 195 was one of only 5 Australian whiskies in its category to be awarded a Gold Medal at the awards – hosted by Whisky Magazine, amongst a huge number of entries.
“We’re really excited to have been awarded a Gold Medal at what is probably considered the most prestigious whisky awards ceremony in the world,” says Mighty Craft Head of Distilling George Campbell. “When we first tasted Cask 195 we thought it was something quite special, and we are very happy that the judges did too.”

Carefully considered and expertly applied craftmanship emanates from every drop of White Oak Cask 912. With a strong oak and honey nose deftly combined with palate pleasing moments of woodiness and sweetness, in equal measure, this expression, aged for six years, holds no equal.
This remarkably rare expression aged for eight years in American Oak Barrels, sets the stage for a drop unlike any other.
Opening with an aromatic burst of aniseed, the palate soon expands into sharp confectionary splendour before reaching a climactic dry and woody finale.
With a nose akin to boiled sweets, aniseed, and the earthy fragrance of pine needles, what begins as an almost initial liquorice hit, soon develops upon the palate into notes of sharp sherbet before revealing a dry and earthy finish.

Aged for six years, this expression delivers exquisite dessert flavours with hints of to***co leaf that slowly transcend into a sugary, spicy finish, topped with decidedly decadent notes of custard, buttery caramel, and toffee.
