A Saturday sipper: Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Rosé, 2021 🌹💋⁠

This fine drop is boujee on a personality level but also on a grape variety level - pouring in with a colourful structure of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Sweet and zesty, the initial bouquet sparks flavours of hand-picked fruit married perfectly with notes of zesty lemon.

The freshness of this rosé carries into citrus aromas before completing the journey with a subtly persistent finish. Defs one to save for those moments you want to impress a certain somebody…😏⁠

Packed with flavour, this dish marries perfectly with a couple of chilled bottles of Rieslingfreak No. 3, made from the family vineyard, White Hutt in Clare Valley. This Riesling is a fruit driven drop - with ripe lemons, lime, melon and tropical fruit notes carried across the palate. Delish. ⁠💋💦
