2020 ‘Lina Lool’, exuberant and deliciously addictive with this unusual blend of friulano, malvasia istriana, riesling and moscato giallo fermented on skin in Amphora, resulting in a silky waxy wine showcasing scent of honeydew melon, bee wax, honey, orange blossom, finishing with preserved lemon and grapefruit zest perfect company to a confit salmon filet, curry butter and lemon brocolis creating a symphony of aromas driven by combined acidity’s wrapped in amazing soft texture.

Fabien MOALIC, aka Fabi, the passion and smile behind Somm Things. Passionate by people, beverages, wine, and food.
Somm Things is the desire to share what we love, in the most humble and simple manner, from a kind and attentive service.
It was born after a forced carier stop due to a serious motorcycle accident. Running the floor of beloved dining rooms became only too challenging, with the loss of both vocal cords.
Naturally the aim to provide the same service directly to your home came to mind, either from wine delivery or private events.

Ginger Beer Special release, refreshing, well balance between spiciness, discret sweetness, and purity, when the delicate fizziness tickles your palate just enough to make you diving back to the glass.
With a simple fresh plate of soba noodle, stir fry Veggie and honey&soy chicken, it was a crisp pairing, respecting the fresh and vibrant flavour from glass and plate. The controlled sweetness on both sides only complements each other, ginger honey and soy flavours binding together perfectly

Tussie Mussie Pinot Gris 2021.
Gentle charming rounded texture, vibrant fresh white stone fruit, peach & pear, completed by delicate honeysuckle flavour, and subtle gingery character.
Enjoyed with poached chicken noodles, it is the perfect conforting match playing on texture and aromas completing each other.
Ginger notes refreshing the dish when the generosity of the plate enforces the conforting feeling of the wine textural profile.

2016 Xinomavro.
From its Kingdom, the region of Macedonia on the North side of Greece, it is pretty expressing red roses notes, cassis, black olive dancing on a sharp acidity line, and playful astringent tannins.
Showing a bit of evolution with its years in the bottles, it was great interaction with a charcoal roasted chicken and smoke potatoes.
