Our first whisky event of the year is something special!

Lucas from and I have curated a top-tier selection of Australian whiskies for a blind tasting experience. You’ll sample six incredible drams without knowing what they are—focusing purely on flavour. Once the tasting is complete, we’ll reveal each whisky and dive into their stories, exploring the distilleries and craftsmanship behind them.

Tickets are $75 online (via the tastings section of our site) or $70 in-store to save the booking fee. Numbers are limited, so if you’re keen, get in quick!

Thursday’s new beer haul featuring limiteds from .ales and (as well as a bunch of restocked core beers)
Little bit of everything in this selection: a summery sour, an Italian Pilsner, and NZ Hazy Pale, a bitter Westie, a thick juicy Double and a slurpy smoothie sour. Come and pick up some freshies.
As always discounts for mixed 4, 8 or 16+

Welcoming and to the shelves for the first time, I have tasting stock available for those of you interested in giving these 4 a try.

Finally, the top three premix drinks are:
1st place is the purple hard lemonade from that’s taken. Adelaide by storm and seems to be doing the same in Jannali!
In second place a recent addition to the fridges with their moreish Smoked Chilli Margarita taking the effort out of cocktail nights.
In third we have Fig Gin and Tonic – this slightly sweet premix goes down very easily and has been a consistent favourite in the fridge for many of you.

Which one are you cracking open first? 🍸✨

Next up, Spirits. Another closely fought category with 1st and 2nd place swapping regularly, but Christmas saw take the W with their tasty, versatile and zesty Limecello
2nd Place goes to the wonderful Passionfruit Liqueur from Shire based
Completing the podium we have the tasty Straight Rye Whiskey from

With the increased popularity of home cocktails and the blistering pace of development in Aussie spirits, this is a category that just continues to get more interesting. Amazing stuff and great to see 2 local distilleries on the podium.

Limited Beer. The beers that you fall in love with and then realise you can’t get again because they ran out. This category is a big focus for a small shop like us that focus on getting the best in our fridges from small independent breweries around the country.
Whilst IPA is the most popular category in the limited beers, the volume decides the winner and it seems Pilsners are winning their way into your homes!
1st Place yet again goes to the Milton Brewery .ales with what was one of my personal favourites of the year, their Joshua Tree West Coast Pilsner. Such a refreshing and tasty drop, great work!
In 2nd place, absolute experts when it comes to a limited hazy pale, they produced some absolute crackers this year, but when it came to sales the Thrill Neck Wizard hazy pale flew off the shelves and won silver despite being a very recent release.
Rounding out the podium another great beer from the Adelaide crew this time an Italian Pilsner
Thanks for the great beers folks!

Core Range Beer. This was a fiercely fought category that came down to the wire, the beers that are part of the core range from breweries and therefore always available. The winner in this category goes to .ales for their Crispy Boi lager — a testament to the quality of the brews coming out of the Milton based brewery.
2nd place goes the very tasty Hazy Pale from in Adelaide.
Completing the podium this year in third place is the local legends
Congratulations to our winners, thank you for making such great beers!
