Hello beautiful people. Sad news! Unfortunately my shop has been taken over by someone whose greedy ambitions meant more to them than my desire to build something special for our community. I offered a section of my shop to my dear friends to put in their high end wooden furniture and beautiful breadboards. I offered another section to someone I no longer call a friend to put in their crystals, all of whom were offered these spaces at no cost to help me fill a large space. Win win! They get a free showroom and I get beautiful items to fill sections of my shop. My friends with the furniture and breadboards were very greatful and even refused my offer of no commission and insisted on paying me a commission on sales. Sarina and Chris vine. The crystal lady however was not happy with just displaying her crystals for me to sell and consequently arranged with the shop owner to have half the shop and sell whatever she saw fit. When I confronted her about this not being the arrangement that her and I had, she made it clear that she was going to hide behind the legal arrangement she had secured with her friend the landlord and was not interested in honouring the terms of our verbal contract. My bad I know but sometimes you want to trust people and I’m now paying for it. I have no desire to share a space with someone who would so easily steal another’s dream to make a buck and so I moved myself and my stock out of the shop. I’m trying to find another shop around Ravenshoe so that I can offer something special to my community and make a positive difference. To that end I’ll keep u informed of my progress. Can’t thank you enough for all your support and gifts during this short period and hope to be back bigger and better than ever in the near future. Peace✌️
