Some recent new editions to the Edwards Racing Team with 2 x new Parolin Le Mans chassis supplied late last year. The Edwards family have made a great return to karting after a small break. The kids Jorja, Abbie and Chad have all shown great speed straight up once again with Chad getting his first win in juniors at the Wyllie's Kart City Young Guns meeting couple weeks ago and both Jorja and Abbie well up the field in KA3 senior light.
We thank Robbie and the crew for their continued support and wish the girls all the best at this weekends Pink Plate event in Albury ❤️❤️

We love helping all our Tassie clubs where we can. This time its the Tasmanian Speedway Kart Club for the race meeting this weekend at the Hobart speedway

This weekend we head to Hobart to contest the Wyllie's Kart City Grand National at Autoklene Hobart Raceway.
Dion has jumped on board to sponsor this event once again so if you are in need of any kart parts be either speedway or bitumen give Dion a buzz and he will help you out.

Well the first asphalt meeting done for 2024 and one of our favourite and special events on the calendar supporting the young and future kids of our loved sport the Launceston Kart Club Wyllie's Kart City Young Guns for juniors and the Wyllie family shield for cadets.
The weather was hot and the action was also hot. The track looked great and the meeting ran very smoothly for the new committee. So a big congratulations and thanks to all those behind the scenes that allow us to go racing.

After a great day at Launceston Kart Club for the Wyllie's Kart City Young Guns the trip home wasn't quite so good for us last night with a wheel bearing on the trailer letting go just outside Perth

But as we often hear and see the karting people are always happy to go out of their way to help people in need. A massive thankyou to Matty Mayne for pulling us over and letting us know we had a problem and his many phone calls chasing a wheel bearing. Then to Arthur Myers who came out to our rescue and came up with a fix even though we didn't quite have the right parts he used his skills and smarts to be able to get us home safely.
Big thanks to Zane Wyatt who had some wheel bearings when we discovered the first set we had wouldn't fit.
Also thankyou to the Bush family who detoured after leaving the Carrick speedway to come and make sure we were ok and also offer their help.
And the many people who phoned offering their help. Peter Lockett, Jason Brown, Marcus Howe, Darren Braid, Owen Rowlings and I'm sorry if I have missed anyone. All very much appreciated.
We made it home about 12.30.

Just a reminder for people with trailers. We service our cars regularly and do so much work on our go karts but even though most of us just hook our trailers on and go don't forget trailers also need love and services other wise you may find that out the hard way.
