We have a special tasting coming up Thursday 2nd May. Join us to try some of Kensington's newest distillery's amazing products. .distilling have just opened up around the corner in Kensington. Traditional spirits with a modern twist.

As usual there is no charge for the tasting and products will be available on the day for you to take home.
Starts at 5 pm and will go to at least 7 pm.

Easter weekend folks.

Staying open a little later on Thursday night but then we will close up at 9 pm the rest of the weekend.

We are lucky enough to be able to open on Good Friday. So don't panic if you have forgotten something for your BBQ. We have your back!

Saturday however we have a private function until 6 pm then we will open up again until 9 pm.

Sunday & Monday 12 - 9 pm.

We are closing for a few hours on Saturday for a private function. From 2 pm - 6 pm Saturday 23rd we will only be open for takeaways. So feel free to pop down anytime to grab a traveller but if you are looking for a table we will reopen at 6 pm.

What are you drinking this Christmas Day? I'm off to a family Christmas in Tassie and have taken with me this gorgeous sparkling Shiraz from in Heathcote.

Bright ruby in colour, bright mulberries, wild raspberries on the nose. A tingle of blackberry and sweet cherry on the palate.

Plenty more in stock if you need that perfect Christmas drink.

We are opening as early as we can today & tomorrow. 10 am! So you can grab some takeaways while you are out and about getting those last minute gifts. Only closing Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

How is this the last week before Christmas!

We will open a fraction earlier on the weekend from 10 am. Giving you plenty of time to stop up on your Christmas goodies. We have plenty of wine for under the tree, and the fridge fillers are cold ready to go.

This Thursday we also have Bin Night playing us some Christmas carols, 😂 only joking think more Fairytale of New York than Jingle Bells.

Only closing Christmas day & Boxing day.

We have some exciting news. We are opening Mondays in December!!

Hopefully summer will start and we can enjoy some gorgeous afternoons in the courtyard. Open from 3 pm - late.

We are also opening at 11 am on Saturday & Sunday. Don't forget to support your local businesses in the lead up to Christmas.

Well Bin Night’s Creepy Xmas Party follows on the long tradition and most sort after Xmas invite in Flemington - Noel’s Crappy Xmas CD Party. With the demise of the CD it did need to evolve and now we have a new crappy tradition. So this year come down, on the longest day of the year – 21st December – to Pin Oak Beer and Wine from 6.30. Please wear something in the style of a creepy xmas – well within reason.

 

Now for those in the steam age I have assembled my favourite tracks of the year but I am hoping no one wants a CD. I will send out a reminder of the event with a link to my Spotify playlist – well two lists. One has 120 tracks from this year and another of a CD length of tracks.

Punters

A last minute gig on Sunday 12th November at Pin Oak Wine and Beer at 3pm

As per usual we will have a host of obscure covers from the vault – maybe a vault that shouldn’t be open.

There is always tension in the Bin – Bin Noel wants to do brilliant jangly english indie - Bin Peter wants to do woeful ballads about unrequited love and heartbreak – not a lot of overlap there. Ok I may be a little biased.

We will be out the back in beach gear so hopefully the weather gods are kind to us

I will be going to Thailand later that night so no need to get changed out of my mankini
