A small yield this year. Making three wines this year a Pommard Rose, Gamay and Pinot noir. The Gamay should darken up after adding the whole bunch press in a few weeks.

It’s going to be a long ripening season, yields are looking a little smaller due to the wet spring but whats there looks great. Definitely will have plenty of crisp nights- perfect for Pinot noir

Hi all, it’s been a bit of a tasting day prior to the bottling period. The 2021 vintages are coming along nicely with the small batch reserve showing great depth and excellent deep dark fruity notes, our thickest wine yet. No Gamay this year although there will be a tiny batch of a bronze splash plus our regular Pinot. Bottling starts next week.

Not everything associated with’19 was bad… This unfiltered Pinot noir is now available by the dozen, enter Pinot-me at checkout to receive $100 off. Limited two per order and ends at the end of the month.
The 2019 Bye's Pinot noir is our first Pinot noir we have produced that is unfiltered. Retaining the light red fruit notes and complexity this wine has true characteristics of a long ripening period.

Hey Folks, it’s that time of year when there’s not much happening outside in the vineyard but in the winery things can get a bit busy.

For the first time we are offering Raw Wine (Pinot noir) straight from the barrel.
No filtering, no Sulphur just bloody good wine.
This is Certified Organic (NCO) Pinot noir which has had no Sulphur influence throughout the wine making and the growing process. - I would be amazed if there was another producer which could say the same.

Won’t be available for long… maybe a week or two.

The pick today - a little bit of Pommard and some Dijon Pinot noir clones are coming off, looks like yield will be down but quality is high with lots of sugars.

With the nets on and the grapes ripening we’re spending some time in the winery getting ready for harvest which should be in a few weeks time. Need to clear some space and I’ve got about 20 cases that I would like to move on.
Great chance to try what we grow and produce. This mixed box is on sale now until harvest.

Up to anything this Saturday? We’ll be at the Liffey Market this Sat 9-4:00 offering tastings and selling wine via the bottle.
There will also be local produce, local honey, local scones & tea, local pretzels, local chill sauces and of course, locals.
