Jim Barry Wines in store now!

From the Clare Valley in SA, we bring 3 Jim Barry red wines to our shelves. An absolute must try is the Cabernet Malbec, which truly blew me away with how delicious it is. For me, I'm not in to Cab Sauv, but I found this very approachable with a generous amount of flavour, great blending choice between two grapes. 🤌

I found the Barry Bros Shiraz as a nice entry level Shiraz showcasing what you'd expect from Clare Valley. 👌

However, the Lodge Hill Shiraz is the best value for money only a few dollars more it really stands among the greats in Clare Valley and is definitely worth trying if you like wines such as Taylors from Clare Valley. 👍

FUJI Single Grain Japanese Whiskey by Kirin Distillery ⛰️

This whiskey is made using a blend of 3 grains, each grain is distilled in 3 different methods including 3 unique flavours; a Bourbon style, Canadian style and a Scotch style. This process results in a Japanese Whiskey unlike what I've tasted before for all the best reasons. I'm a bourbon drinker so I really loved the nuances of corn that you could taste on the pallet. The desirable flavours lasted so long after drinking which was amazing. 🤌

Something I thought was super cool is that you can see a 3D impression of Mt Fuji embossed into the base of the bottle! ⛰️

This whiskey is well worth the money in my opinion and I am offering free tastings to anyone interested in purchasing, until I run out. 🥃

I've tried all these wines myself (I manage the store) and I love them. This Shiraz, relatively new to our shelves is one of my new favourites and a must try! With such a velvety smooth mouth feel and rich layers of dark cherries & plum, this wine is a must try for those who like their Shiraz on the more fruit driven side. It packs a wallop of ripeness with every sip, you can taste the love that went in to making this exceptional wine. Truly a great experience and pairs very well a cut of steak like porterhouse.

Our Taylors Wine range is expanding from with the Estate label, Jaraman series and the Masterstroke series.
