These amazing volunteers are out day and night at the moment working tirelessly around the clock to help protect our local communities and wildlife parks to the best of their capabilities
Something not many people would know is Most of this amazing crew at the Berkshire Park Rural Fire Brigade also volunteer at Sydney Dragway.
This has become very personal, something I hold close to my heart personally.
Being apart of the car and Motorsport community from speedway, to car shows, to burnouts to drag racing every one of us has been affected by these fires throughout our country. Many of us have had property under threat, some have lost their homes, and all of us have been affect by smoke at some point
I always hear from all different crowds “we are one big family” I consider these guys apart of that family and I am sure many others feel the same way.
This particular crew have devoted so much of their own time, volunteering at Sydney Dragway and other community events so that we may all enjoy what we do and spectate.
Wether its car shows, memorial events, burnouts to street and pro drag racing this crew have been there to support us.
They have put their bodies on the line to save countless of cars, to help rescue those who have unfortunately had accidents and so much more.
No one would be able to perform, race or spectate without this amazing crew.
Let’s all stand together as a family,
doesn’t matter if your from burnouts or drag racing or car shows or just spectate and watch from home, let’s get together and help these guys and girls who have always helped all of us. Without their volunteers we would not be able to enjoy these great sports that we do.
I have organised to drop bottled water, fruit, snacks, sausages, bread, eye drops, lip balms and other items to the Berkshire Park Rural Fire Brigade station on Tuesday 17th December between 6pm and 7pm.
