It was 3 years ago today that we walked in the door and started the demolition, although some mornings at 4am it feels like 30 years ago. In 2 years, 2026, it's the old girls centenary "100 YEARS OLD" By then we will have the outside finished and looking more appealing, ready for the big celebration ⏳ 🍻🥂🍾🎉

If you live in, or close to Biddeston, you can have your parcels delivered here at the Biddeston Store, to save you time. You simply need to shoot over to Oakey Post Office and fill out a form. All I request is that they are picked up within a couple of days or let us know if that is not possible. Hoping I won’t need to extend the shop at Christmas time 😆

Merry Christmas Everyone. I am giving the girls a well-deserved break and will be manning the shop myself. I will make the normal breakfast and sausage rolls up until 9am then after that the kitchen will be closed, operating as a Convenience Store only.

What a great gathering of our small community, despite the cold weather. There were lots of yarns, lies and stories told, the most chatter was about our recent rains and how much or little everyone collected. We hit it off with a friendly game of cricket, kids had a treasure hunt, although some adult kids were disqualified. We rolled into the foot long sausage roll eating competition, with no hands, clear winner was Brad winning the prize of another foot long sausage roll 😆 A delicious BBQ was dished up, then the fun and games started. Beer/Rum/Cider/Champayne/Soft Drink Pong, sack and 3 legged races and finishing the night with lots of cross-eyed darts thrown. I’d like to thank the Biddeston Hall Community Committee for hosting this event, we all had a great time. 👏
